My Skin Journey: Why I decided to do Accutane

A few days ago, I decided to share some personal information regarding my skin in my Instagram Stories, and the new “skin journey” I am on. I had an overwhelming response from SO many kind women who shared many things with me – some with similar personal experiences, some with just simple words of care, and some with suggestions hoping to help me. I never expected such kindness – the type that surrounds you and encourages you to keep being transparent and to use Instagram as a way of connecting with REAL people who face many of the same things as me. My Skin Journey: Why I decided to do Accutane I want to explain my skin type, things I have tried, … Read More

Brittany’s Baby Shower

Today you’re getting something new from my blog: A guest post! I had the absolute honor of co-hosting a baby shower for my Instagram-turned-real-life-friend Brittany. She used to be a teacher, and we both love eating and girl time, so we hit it off right away. I am blessed to know her, and can hardly wait to meet her baby girl. Today, she is sharing all of the details on her beautiful baby shower along with some amazing local Phoenix vendors. Two Sundays ago I had the baby shower of my dreams. The entire day was so magical.  I felt unbelievably grateful having a group of some of the most special people in my life come out to celebrate me and … Read More

Sunday Best: Scalloped Easter Dress

My fashion journey today stems from my past “obsession” when I was younger (read more here), and Easter fashion is no exception! When I was a little girl, my favorite thing about Easter was picking out which spring dress I was going to pull out for Easter Sunday’s church service. My sisters and I always did this together, and it was so fun putting those black Mary Janes away and pulling out our white sandals. This memory lives on for me even still! I love finding a dress that emulates the spring season. With all of the fun that comes with Easter, in thankfulness I pause for the sacrifice that was made for you and me – the reason we celebrate Easter. Jesus said to her, … Read More

Knit-Lace Navy Tunic

Today I am sharing another blog-worthy look from Grace & Lace. This tunic top will be such a great piece for transitioning into spring. Because it is a sort of knit-lace material, it is breezy, light, and comfortable. The neck can be worn completely off-the-shoulders, or scrunched up for more of a boat-neck look like I wore it. I layered this open-knit tunic with a navy undergarment, but it would also look awesome with something white underneath. I know that once it’s warm enough out, this will go so perfectly with a pair of white denim shorts, a white layering tank, and some platform wedge sandals. (Spring and summer tan come quickly, lol!)  Outfit Details:  My jeans are out of stock, these are almost identical   |  c/o Romantic Lace … Read More
