Today’s post is dedicated to styling a staple dress 3 different ways. I think versatility in a wardrobe goes a long way, especially when you’re shopping on a budget. I found this swing dress and it seems to go on sale for around $15 every other week (yay!). It comes in a variety of colors, so if blue isn’t your thing, pick from a green or black & white floral pattern, black & white stripes, or a solid red or black. You can pair any of those patterns and colors with the same accessorizing pieces I styled with my blue dress in this post. I’m 5’5″ and decided to order this dress in a “tall,” and love having more length.

The first way I wore the dress is obviously the easiest – styled for summer. It’s still SO hot here, so I kept things simple last week for picture day, and wore this dress with favorite wedges and a simple bracelet. If you wanted to jazz it up a little bit more than I did, check out the unique statement jewelry I found on the shopping carousel below.

Throwing a denim jacket over a dress is easy and helps take any short sleeved dress into the cooler season. Other popular jackets like a black faux-leather one, or a tan or brown suede jacket would look cute over this dress, too. I love wearing a pair of booties, yet sometimes flats feel like the way to go. These cut-out ones are an incredible dupe to the popular over-$100 Free People pair. I rounded up a number of other jackets you could pair with this dress along with some fall-ready booties in the shopping carousel below.

I hope these long duster cardigans never go out of style! I just love throwing them over dresses or adding them over shorts and a tee when I’m going to sit in cold AC. I own one in gray, black, and this tan color. I also think a long, floral kimono like this one would be a fun option over this swing dress. I brought this fall style together easily with the tan hues in this cardigan and booties. See more duster-style cardigans you could wear over this dress to change up the look on the carousel below!
