As school begins, we all start dreaming of cooler temperatures, chunky knits, and pumpkin everything (just me?). Well, in some parts of the country, this is still a good month or two off. (We keep hitting temperatures above 100 degrees here!) There’s this choker top from Grace & Lace which is unique because it’s a lightweight summer knit. It follows trends with cute side slits and a criss cross pattern on the neckline. And, as the cool temperatures eventually sneak in, it will look really chic under a moto jacket!

I wore this top to school/work with white skinny pants yesterday and loved how it was long enough to cover me in the back. I wore a white cami underneath to keep it from being too low for teaching, and had on some pretty nude flats to bring the light colors together!

In these photos I styled the choker top as more of a fall look with peep toe booties and black jeggings. Throwing a tan, gray, black, or brown moto jacket over it later will look so good, too, without having bulky knit sleeves to deal with – yay!
