Mustard Midi Dress for the Fall Season

Mustard Midi Dress for the Fall Season | Teacherfashionista | Jules

There’s something about the word October that gets me all excited for fall! Our temperatures really don’t cool off enough to be considered “fall-like” until November, but I still get excited to pull forward not only fall colors from my closet, but all of my fall favorites like jackets, booties, and hats! Evenings are dipping into the 70’s, and I couldn’t be happier to grab a jacket on my way out the door and feel that cool, fall weather. How’s the weather where you are? Feeling like fall yet? My sister had some blustery flurries in Minneapolis the end of last week – I can’t believe how fast that came.

I wore this dress a few weeks back with the white waterfall vest, and a week ago with a denim top knotted over the top. I am already looking forward to wearing it again when it cools even more, so thought I’d share further styling ideas today. This midi dress style is a wear-year-round piece for any closet!

Below, you’ll see 4 style ideas pictured (plus a hat!), with 5 more ideas listed at the end of the post. Choose any fall hue in this style of midi dress – burgundy, brown, olive, burnt orange, black – and you can wear it the same ways I did! (Outfit details listed throughout this post.)

Did one of these ideas pop out at you to try? This is the first midi dress I’ve gotten, and I liked it way more than I thought I would! I would love to add a burgundy or olive one to my closet, too!

Have a great week, all! Glad you stopped by to read – that means a lot to me! XO
