Happy National Teacher Appreciation Week!
Today I want to thank every teacher who goes the extra mile day in and day out. You know who you are… you get to work early, stay way too late, and often work over your lunch break.
This week, we celebrate you. The one person who cheers on students who may have no cheerleaders at home. The one person who can inspire, listen, and celebrate unlike any other. The one who can stir up questions, curiosity, and dreams.
You and your beautiful heart are more important and more needed than you may know. And today, as a fellow teacher, I commend you for going above and beyond even when obstacles often stand in your way, when exhaustion fills every part of your being on Friday nights, and you turn the lights off at the end of the day wondering if you’re doing enough for your students. Just remember… usually what students need most each day has nothing to do with your lesson plan.
I stumbled upon a blog called Mrs. D’s Corner, and it really encouraged my heart to remember that our profession is not just the career we chose, it’s about respecting and caring about little ones so they learn to respect and care about others. It’s about seeing the big picture, so your students grow to be responsible, impactful adults. And most importantly, it’s about influencing the future generation for good by being the good in students’ lives today. Need some inspiration, encouragement, or positivity in your teacher career? Check out her post full of quotes. They will move you.

In case you are new here, let me introduce myself:
I am a kindergarten teacher in my 11th year of teaching, 9 of which have been in Kindergarten. I just love that age and wouldn’t trade it to teach another age group for anything. I live in Arizona with my husband and 2 shorkie pups. In our free time, we love hiking, going on long drives, traveling, hanging out with our family or friends, and sitting on the patio looking at the mountains after a day of work.
Now, on to today’s fashion portion of the blog post! I am excited to team up with other teacher bloggers again to kick off teacher appreciation week with posts directed toward teachers, teacher life, inspiration, and – of course – fabulous style. I did a link-up with them back in August when 7 of us shared “back to school” looks.
An article of clothing I continue to love and go-to is the olive-sage-green-colored jegging. I have found that I wear them most often with white, black, and black & white floral or stripes. They go with a variety of shoes, too! These colored jeggings have been a versatile staple in my closet for several years now and I continue to pull them out nearly every week. (The jeggings in my outfits below are from AE unless otherwise noted.)
Consider the 12 outfit ideas below:

Can’t find a really close option – best try on a similar Tee | Necklace | Somewhat similar Sandals

Unfortunately, it looks like American Eagle is not selling these jeggings online anymore, but I have seen them in stores. Here are other options to consider:
Which look is your favorite? I’d have to say the leopard shoes always add the perfect amount of jazz… those particular outfits may be my favorites of the bunch!
