When it comes to a New Years Eve outfit, nothing is more fun to wear than a popular trend or classic sparkle. And with all of the special festivities of the Christmas season behind us, we look ahead to the hope that lies in the New Year. Whether you are going to a family or friend’s house, having a party at your own, or headed for a night out, I have some inspirational outfit ideas with trending leopard heels or a sparkly skirt that will pair nicely with things you probably already own. Picture a glittery manicure, and you’re ready for the glitz and glamour of NYE!

CASUAL STATEMENT: Leopard Heels

Here’s what you can round up to pair with sassy leopard heels: black jeans/pants, black velvet or cotton tank, black belt, and statement earrings. Then….

….add: a Colored Cardigan (I chose a brown/tan color)

…OR add: a Denim Jacket

…OR add: A Faux-Leather Jacket

COZY STATEMENT: Black Booties

Switch out the heels for a more cozy look and go with black booties and a chunky cardigan. If heels or booties aren’t your thing for NYE, go with a sequin or velvet thank under a snuggly sweater (like the picture below) and switch out the booties for a pair of cozy UGGs or thick, fuzzy socks.

DRESSY STATEMENT: Sequin Skirt

If you love getting dressed up and going out to ring in the new year, you can’t go wrong with a little sparkle! I think a sequin skirt is a fabulous choice because although I love dresses, sometimes that can feel like too much sparkle.
