Achieving a casual date night look with your closet staples can get you a pretty classic and put-together outfit. Last minute date night? No problem. Look around for your favorite pair of jeans, a white tee, and then start pulling in colors with a fun bag or clutch, and of course jewelry. The hardest decision might be if you want to wear flats or heels! In the summer, a good compromise is a fun pair of wedges. Using staple pieces can bring an outfit together quickly for any last minute plans to go out.

The Denim

Raw hems are all the rage this season, so you can imagine my excitement when Silver Jeans fashioned my favorite Sukis with this trend! Naturally, I have enjoyed pulling these out many times this spring, and I know they will be my go-to throughout the summer, as well. I can’t say enough good things about the fit of their jeans. I just love how they hold their shape!

The Statement Accessory

I found that the easiest way to bring an outfit together, especially with a white tee, is to pick a statement accessory to make it all pop. I was a long-time admirer of the large Panacea turquoise necklace that Nordstrom carried for $98, but that price tag was way too much to justify buying it. So, I set to work making a dupe with materials from Michael’s and my love for jewelry-making. Beyond the turquoise, I went with a light and neutral wedge and bag to complete this date night look.
