December is my favorite time of year! The 2018 work year is coming to a close, holiday parties and gatherings will commence, and soon we will all be joining loved ones to celebrate the Christmas season and create new memories. With that in mind, I decided to shop for a sweater at LOFT that would work for all of those special moments. As a teacher, LOFT has been a reliable place to shop for work wear like dress pants, skirt, dresses, and blouses. I also just love their jewelry, cozy clothes, sweaters, and unique gifts. You can never beat the quality and sale deals, either!

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but pastels are making their way back into the stores! I saw this pastel sweater when I was in my San Tan Village store, and fell in love with the bright feminine striped pattern. Not only will it be pretty for work with dress pants, it will be trendy over a weekend or family gathering with jeans, too. I dressed it below for “work” and “play”.

Pastel Sweater for Work

I paired this sweater with some skinny black pants from LOFT that I wear weekly for work. I also think it would look so pretty with dress pants and bow flats or heels like these. Pastel Sweater for Play

With all of the work parties and holiday gatherings, this sweater was really fun to dress up with a trendy little button up skirt and OTK boots. Another more casual option I’ll be trying is a pair of distressed denim like this pair along with light pink loafers or cognac booties like these. I added some more casual style ideas below.
