Today’s post is dedicated to versatility yet again. I am taking a floral pencil skirt, and styling it 4 different ways. It is SO easy to change up the way it looks with other staples that are most likely already in your closet – a cardigan, denim jacket, and various favorite boots or booties. With summer temperatures in full force here, I haven’t put any of my summer wardrobe away yet, in fact, I am having fun dreaming of ways to take some summer pieces into fall and winter.
A Pencil Skirt Styled 4 Ways:
1. A Pencil Skirt with Summer Wedges
Skirt (Runs a tad big IMO) | Top | Necklace | Wedges are old by Marc Fisher / Similar Wedges here and here
2. A Pencil Skirt Plus a Cardigan
Skirt (Runs a tad big IMO) | Top | Necklace | Wedges are old by Marc Fisher/Similar Wedges here and here | Pink Cardigan Wrap
3. A Pencil Skirt, Duster, and Peep Toes
Skirt (Runs a tad big IMO) | Top | Necklace | Peep Toe Booties (Use code XOJULES for 20% off) | Black Duster
4. A Pencil Skirt, Denim Jacket, and Booties
Skirt (Runs a tad big IMO) | Top | Necklace | Booties / Budget-friendly option here, here, and here | Denim Jacket
What is your favorite way to style a pencil skirt? Have you tried any of the looks I did? I’d love to hear!
Thanks for reading! XO
Hi Jules. I am a teacher as well and though I love pencil skirts I only wear them outside the classroom, since I cycle to school and for that pencil skirts are just not good, no matter how you style them. I love the way you have shown what you can do with one single skirt. I love doing that too. Good for your creativity, the environment and your wallet. Love, Lieske
Thank you so much for your kind compliments, Lieske! I appreciate the feedback so much. Hope your school year is off to a great start! XO
