Easter Sunday Best

Easter brings to mind all things floral, spring, warm, pastel, and for me… even chocolate! When I was a little girl, my favorite thing about Easter was picking out which spring dress I was going to pull out for Easter Sunday’s church service. This memory lives on for me even still! I love finding a dress that emulates the spring season. In all of this fashionista fun, I stop in thankfulness for the sacrifice that was made for my soul, for your soul.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live,

even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.”

– John 11:25-26

Jesus died as sacrifice for me and you. He did not stay in the grave, but rose on the 3rd day, and now waits in Heaven for those who have faith and believe in Him. I believe in that promise, and cling to it every day.

My dress comes from one of my favorite places to shop – Maurices! They have a wonderful mix of clothes for work and play, and even a few choices for dressing up! Plus, their prices are decent, and they do a number of sales each month. Right now they have free shipping (for a limited time), and dresses, skirts, and more are 25% off! I paired this beautiful lace swing dress with my favorite old Coach bag, and some Vince Camuto heels I got on major clearance at the Dillard’s Outlet last year. See my outfit details below.
