LBD Go Casual or Get Fancy | NYE Dress | Teacherfashionista | Jules

There’s nothing more classic than a LBD, especially in the winter. And with all of the special festivities of the Christmas season behind us, we look ahead to the hope that lies in the New Year. If you love getting dressed up and going out to ring in the new year, you can’t go wrong pulling out your LBD, and accessorizing to jazz it up! Even if the fabric is casual, you can dress it up a lot by adding sparkle with heels and a shiny necklace. Then, picture a glittery manicure, and you’re ready for the glitz and glamour of NYE!

Casual Look: LBD with Boots

It’s chilly almost everywhere this time of year, and if you’re looking to go out and don’t want to be too fancy, just pair some cognac boots with your LBD! It takes away from wearing all black, and you can accessorize with turquoise earrings or layering necklaces to keep your look casual. Throwing your hair into a sleek ponytail can give it the perfect amount of polish, too!

Fancy Look: LBD with Glitter Heels

If you’re all about the glamour of NYE, get fancy with crystal statement necklaces, glittery heels, and a pretty clutch or crossbody. I also think a colored pump or strappy heel could really add some fun along with a sequin bag. The color possibilities with accessorizing a LBD are endless!
