The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finally goes public tomorrow – well, midnight PST to be exact! I thought I would take a little time to share my try ons with you from the Nordstrom Sale to help with fit, sizing, and styling ideas. Also, please forgive my dusty mirror:( Apparently it shows better in direct sunlight… I didn’t even notice it before I saw these pics! LOL

My “Try Ons” and Opinions

This top is a beautiful staple! It is perfect for work. Obviously I will wear a nude bra.

PEPLUM TOP

I am wearing an XS in white.

I canNOT wait for cardigan & duster weather! I enjoy this look for work also – picture this cardi with flare jeans, skinny jeans & boots, or black dress pant and pointy heels. SWOON! I added the plaid light-weight scarf – it was in the sale for $15, but sold out. (It is still available in a light ivory-plaid).

RIBBED CARDIGAN

I am wearing an XS in “oatmeal.”

Last year I got an olive “field jacket” and wore it ALL fall and winter long for work and play. This year, I went for this “ink” color and LOVE it!

I love this moto jacket for the price & for the gold accents, but decided against keeping it. I have one with silver accents and in a different style, but think it can hold up another year. It was hard to part with, though!

BOOTIES:

I got my normal size 7.5 – pictured in the top photos above when I did try ons.

I got them in a tan oiled suede, but they are also available in black. (Tan is sold out, but may get restocked for the public sale going live tomorrow!)

I even visited the store after we got back from our Grand Canyon trip, and had a really fun try-on session! I got the striped long sleeved top (wear later – with scarves!) and the coral ruffle top (wear now/layer later), as both will be great for work!

I tried on the green sweater and LOVED it! Just couldn’t get everything! Speaking of which… SO TORN over this suede jacket. I loved it last year and passed, so trying to make up my mind for this year. Arizona winters are “jacket” weather, not “coat” weather… so I always get the use out of them. Decisions are hard!

STRIPED TOP: 

I got a SMALL for some room – I like to do a front tuck with tees like this.

GREEN SWEATER:

I tried on a SMALL. Loved the way it fit – has a cute boatneck collar, and flattering side slits. It’s definitely longer, so covers your bottom, which is nice for leggings.

CORAL RUFFLE TOP:

I got a size 4.

SUEDE MOTO JACKET:

I tried on an XS in “Spice” – good fit for light tees/shirts/tanks underneath. Would suggest going a size up if you’d like to wear sweaters underneath.
